Crime and punishment

The crime.

The perpetrator.

Notice how she won't even look me in the eye.

Does this face say "guilty" or what?

The punishment: a heavy dose of scolding. It hurts her feelings (as you can see by picture #3).

Yuck.

Yuck! Sorry you had to clean that one up! My puppy used to make that same face when she did something she knew was wrong..and wouldn't even look at me! How can you stay mad at that little face though? So cute!

Ah! My mother has 6 dogs, so i can only laugh. At least they look easy to clean up :)

My dogs hate verbal punishment. It works so much better than physical, which my dogs thinks is just rough play and then are happy they are getting hands on attention (especially my big guy, that while growing up we'd push and pull him for play ... never hurting him of course!). They hate the phrase "Bad Dog!" and give me the same look your dog gave you.

On the bright side, it was poop not pee, and that's easier to clean!

Oh, stinky! With my boys, I don't even have to verbally scold anymore, I just have to put a hand on my hip and LOOK at them, and they cower, then run and hide!!

So cute. It reminds me of when my daughter was 1 1/2 and spilled a whole box of cereal on the floor. When I went to take a picture of it, she sat there in the middle of it all, sqeezing her eyes shut as if to say, "If I can't see mommy, then maybe I won't be found guilty." Hee-hee.
I'm sure the cereal was more pleasant to clean up. Sorry.

That is so funny she wouldn't look at you, she knew what she did.
My Boston Terrier did that say things not long ago in the girls playroom, the girls were running out yelling Lucy pooped.
It was bad.

You know, I accidentally clicked on THE photo and it became full- screen sized. Good Sunday morning to you too, young missy! Your baby's guilty body language says it all. Awww.

Thanks for participating in my JUNK giveaway! I love your story about the little wood table. They can really gang up on a gal, can't they? Hehe.

BEEN THERE! Oh yeah. That head-turned-no-look-in-the-eye thing is VERY familiar around our house. :)

Our dogs do that whole "if I don't look at her, maybe she won't see me" bit too. LOL

Haha! I love that you documented it. Nuts does the same thing, where he won't look directly at me after he has done something wrong.
