Vintage glass flower frog turned wind chime

My mom and I have been collecting vintage glass flower frogs for several years now. We've made quite a few wind chimes from them. This is one I made one for my neighbor for her birthday.

I used glass beads and a ceramic "B" for the center since their last name begins with a "B."

It's so funky and charming, don't you think? I'm such a great neighbor to have. :b

I love the clinkety-clink sound it makes in the wind.

I used my secret spy ninja skills to creep into her backyard this morning to take these pictures. =) She wouldn't mind though. We are really close friends. ;)

lol that is so cool of you. And I have a friend like that too...we'd walk into eachother's houses just to see eachother...but now they are moving across town...and my husband and I will be moving into their place! The place I use to just walk into...ha. will soon be our place. So strange. I will miss her company...so close :(

Me likes! Love the funky B. I have flower frogs, but I'm boring and just use them for pens on the desk. LOL Do you do you own beading for the chimes? I want you to be my neighbor!

That is so neat! I have always been drawn to those flower frogs but didn't know one thing to do with them. Great idea!

wow, that is amazing!

as for haircolor, you can always use the Clairol luminize base (or gold) clear bottle, then mix it with 40 vol equal parts. apply to your roots only, then comb through to the ends of your hair for the last 5 mins or so (spritz ends very lightly with water before you comb the color through) .

You are so crafty! I love the look of windchimes, but at night my neighbor's windchimes keep me awake. Are these very loud, or do you think I could sleep with them on my front porch? :)

I was wondering what's the size of the flower frog (how many holes, inches across). I've been looking at them online and they come is many sizes. 9 holes, 11 holes, 16 holes, 3", 5" and more. Thank you for the info.

Very bohemian! It's great if you collect odd bits like beads or buttons. So unlike this modern wind spinner.
