Rescue transport and awards

Last night I drove another rescue transport for three precious pups! There were two pittie pups and a boxer pup. They were so good on the drive. The two little ones shared a crate, and the larger pup sat shotgun. I didn't get to take any pics...it was so cold and dark outside by the time they were handed off to me, but fortunately, another driver who is overnighting the dogs sent them via email to the rest of us this evening!

Avery (white pittie pup, approx a few months old) and Rufus (boxer pup)

Rufus

Miley (pittie pup, just a few weeks old)

Miley's pic from the pound...she's a tiny little bugger!

These babies are so precious!

A few weeks back, I drove a transport for a sweet, beautiful German Shepherd named Hilde. Loved her. Wanted to sneak her back to my house.

And I'm so far behind, I am embarrassed. I was kindly given a couple of awards and want to thank these sweet girls!

Joanna and Brandi gave me the lemonade award.

This award is for showing great attitude or gratitude and making lemonade from lemons. I honestly don't know that I've done a good job with that lately, but I'm trying (in my own way!). :)

And sweet Ally gave me the Friends Award.

The Friends Award is given to blogs that are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and to be friends.
The hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated.

Thank you girls! I appreciate you thinking of me! I've met so many sweet people via blogland, and I am thankful! You all are in my hearts!

I'm so not showing these pictures to my older child. She loves animals and keeps after me to get a dog. Ok, we already have two dogs, a goldfish, frog, turtle, and a hamster.

That is so great that you do that! What cute little guys. I'm so glad that you're helping them find a great home!

To answer your question over at my blog..I get all over highlights, obviously HEAVY, lol. If I did all over color, it would look a bit too much on me.

Thanks so much for stopping by...have a wonderful day!

Those dogs are beautiful. I'm in love with the Boxer. The little expression is just adorable. I don't know how you do your job and not end up with all of them! I hope they all find homes that are GREAT to them!

Thanks for the info on the bandage!

What a cool thing to do! You must have a strong will though to not end up with all of them in your own home. :)

I agree with Ally0005. If my kids knew that animal rescue existed, I'd be sunk!

Those dogs are adorable! I am go glad you do what you do. We need more people like you! How did you get in to doing that? I might get myself into trouble sneaking them all back at my house though..

In case I haven't told you - I think you are so super duper for taking in these sweet furbabies. I don't have the strength it takes to take them in and then send them off. I would end up with a zoo because I couldn't let go in the end. I so hope that there are people out there that will take these precious animals.

Thanks for the comments! I know "30" isn't that old BUT I just really want to be a mom and I always thought I would be before I was 30 and I just don't seeing it happening soon so it just brings me down... enough venting!!!

How are you? How did your interview go? Any other interviews lined up?

How is your pup feeling?

I love that you rescue animals! My life changed completely 1 year ago when I rescued my first dog! We have since rescued a 2nd and I would love to have more. (Our small house however won't allow for that!) Thanks for being one of those great people out there that truly cares about animals!
